Jeannette Ceja is an award-winning bilingual Travel Journalist, TV Host, Travel Advisor, and a Global Public Speaker. In 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Belmont University. The following year, Jeannette completed the Professional Producing Program at the University of California- Los Angeles.
She combined her love for travel and over 10 years of work as a journalist and TV Host into an internationally recognized company known as Jet Set with Jeannette. Jeannette has interviewed countless celebrities, politicians, athletes, and travel experts on the red carpet. Her work has appeared on ABC7 Los Angeles, FOX 11 Los Angeles, Mexico Travel Channel, KUSI News, and many more media outlets around the world. She is the Vice-President of Media at the non-profit organization, Travel Unity. Jeannette aims to assist and represent every traveler with a special emphasis on women, minorities, youth, and travelers with disabilities.
Over the past five years, she has spoken about the need for more diversity and inclusion in the travel industry at conferences all over the world including The Women Economic Forum- Egypt, The Women in Travel Summit, The New York Travel Festival, Tourism in Romania Conference, Impact Travel Immersion Conference, Epic Mastermind Conference, Travel Talks, the Travel Unity- Economic Development through Diversity Summit and The Women Economic Forum- Mexico City. She was the emcee for the New York Travel Festival, Global Voice Awards, and the Impact Travel Immersion Global Conference. In 2018, Jeannette was the Official Travel Host for The World Woman Summit at the Clinton Presidential Center.
As a seasoned journalist, she writes articles about travel that include women and the Hispanic demographic. Her expertise encompasses luxury travel, female travel, and diversity travel. Her passion and dedication for travel has taken her to over 60 countries to date.
In 2019, Jeannette was awarded as one of the Top 20 Global Women of Excellence by U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis and the Multi-Ethnic Advisory Task Force at the 7th Annual International Women’s Day Celebration. Last year, Jeannette was nominated for her work by the Los Angeles Business Journal at the Women’s Council & Awards. She was also one of the nominees for Best Travel Creator at The Tecla Awards - part of the 10th annual Hispanicize conference - honoring Latinx contributions to media. This year, she partnered with Visit Pasadena as the tourism boards official bilingual spokesperson on National Plan For Vacation Day.
