About Jeannette

 Jeannette Ceja is an award-winning bilingual travel journalist, television host, travel advisor, and global public speaker. Over the past ten years, she has interviewed countless celebrities, athletes, and travel experts, including Samantha Brown, Rick Steves, and Anthony Bourdain.

 

She has appeared as an on-air travel expert on BBC World News, ABC7 Los Angeles, WTTW Chicago, FOX 11 Los Angeles, Mexico Travel Channel, Spectrum News 1 Los Angeles, ABC 10 News San Diego, KUSI News, Good Day Austin/Fox 7 Austin, and other prominent media outlets worldwide. Jeannette is a seasoned and bilingual journalist known for her expertise in women's travel, luxury travel, and the Latino-Hispanic travelers demographic. Jeannette's dedication has taken her to over 60 countries to date.

A respected and sought-after host, Jeannette has been the Master of Ceremony, Emcee, and Moderator at many international events, including The Forbes Travel Guide Summit, the Solidarity to Overcome Disaster Conference at the European Parliament, The Global Tourism Forum in Turkey, The New York Travel Festival, The Changemakers Awards, The Global Voice Awards, The Latinas in Aviation Global Festival, and The Impact Travel Immersion Global Conference. In 2018, Jeannette was the Official Travel Host for The World Woman Summit at The Clinton Presidential Center. The following year, she was recognized as one of the Top 20 Global Women of Excellence by U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis and the Multi-Ethnic Advisory Task Force at the 7th Annual International Women's Day Celebration.

 

In 2022, she received the Latina Joven de Impacto Mundial award from the Líder Gladiador Conference in Dallas, Texas. Also, Jeannette was honored as a Top 40 Under Forty Honoree by AL DÍA News in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Jeannette has been nominated multiple times for her work by the Los Angeles Business Journal at the Women's Council & Awards. In addition, she was a nominee for Best Travel Creator at The Tecla Awards - part of the 10th annual Hispanicize conference - honoring Latino contributions to media. Additionally, she has partnered with tourism boards and brands, including Visit Pasadena and UnCruise Adventures. 

A passionate advocate for women and diversity, Jeannette has been a speaker at global conferences, including The Women Economic Forum, Egypt, The New York Travel Festival, The Tourism in Romania Conference, Impact Travel Immersion Conference, The Epic Mastermind Conference, Travel Talks, the Travel Unity- Economic Development through Diversity Summit, The NAHJ Annual Conference, and The Women Economic Forum, Mexico City.​ She aims to assist and cover more stories of representation and diversity, specializing in women, youth, and travelers with disabilities. Jeannette received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Belmont University and completed the Professional Program in Producing at the University of California, Los Angeles. While at Belmont University, Jeannette interned at Fox News Chicago, WTVF- CBS in Nashville, and the Tennessean daily newspaper. Lastly, she completed the Chips Quinn Scholar program for diversity in Journalism.​
